Location: Illinois-Chicago
This position will be responsible for implementing and supporting all marketing and operational aspects of our Prepaid wireless voice, messaging and data products and services. A specific responsibility of this position will to be to implement and support process/operational efficiencies as well as the tactical product lifecycle operational management of product//service initiatives. This role will ensure the product/service/initiative operates effectively and efficiently. This position will work closely with internal teams and vendor-partners in order to provide the Ideal Customer Experience for U.S. Cellular® Prepaid customers.

* Full marketing and strategic support for the U.S. Cellular® Prepaid Offering.
* Liaison with multiple teams including Engineering, Sales Operations, Customer Service, other Marketing teams, project teams and vendor-partners for activities supporting Prepaid Wireless products and services.
* Root cause analysis and problem resolution for supporting Prepaid Wireless Data products and services.
* Answer operational questions on Prepaid Data services from both customers and internal stakeholders.
* Supports development of both internal and external SLA and monitoring, working with internal teams and vendor-partners.
* Leads platform issue resolution, coordination of platform roadmap, invoice reconciliation
* Support platform functional enhancements, and vendor management.
* Creation and leadership of cross-functional teams to manage operational efficiencies.
* Support of marketing and training programs, integrated with the RSO and Regional plans, to achieve revenue goals.
* Demonstrates strong leadership and significant influence management skills to gain credibility with, and drive decision-making from, senior leadership and stakeholders across the enterprise.
* Work with a team of product managers to produce financial results based on marketing standards of excellence and with customer satisfaction and the Dynamic Organization as the determinant force.
In addition to the longer-term, strategic aspect of the role, the candidate will have tactical, day-to-day operational and implementation responsibilities which includes an array of activities from resolving system or billing issues, supporting pricing/promotional enhancements or local promotional events, driving key analytical efforts, enhancing the integration between acquisition team with other marketing/operational teams and improving the reporting and measuring of pricing and promotion program effectiveness
* Minimum of two plus years experience in product marketing/operations/development is preferred. Relevant marketing experience within the applications/software/telecommunications industry or with a wireless voice/data service provider is a plus.
* BA/BS Marketing, Business or related discipline required. Technical undergraduate education with relevant business/product management experience will be considered, MBA is a plus.
* Strategic thinking coupled with tactical execution is vital for this role.
* Experience fostering a collaborative, yet accountable relationship with vendor-partners is highly desirable.
* Analytical skills, in order to produce actionable intelligence that will drive decisions and increase the profitable success of the prepaid business.
* A sense of urgency to get information to customers and those who support them.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously is key to success in this position.
* Excellent oral and written communications skills, including experience making presentations to all levels, including senior management required
* Must be able to effectively operate within diverse and cross functional groups, including outside vendors.
* Strong team and customer focused orientation, project management, creative and analytical skills required.
* Ability to analyze issues, develop and deploy solutions within a dynamic environment highly preferred.
